Summer in Great Lake Taupo

Great Lake Taupo comes alive during the summer months. The sun rises early and sets late, giving us long days to fill with adventures. Stroll along the lakeside, get out on the water on a scenic cruise, skim stones, make pumice sculptures and watch boaties go by.

SATURDAY 10th February 2019
Registration and race bag pick up is on Saturday 9th February from 3pm to 7pm at the Kinloch Community Hall in the Kinloch domain by the event parking (opposite the Marina entrance). All participants must register to receive their race bag.  There is no registration available on Sunday.

Note: Briefing notes will be emailed out to registrants in the week before the event.

Bike Racking is only at these two time slots - Saturday 9th February 3pm - 7pm and Sunday 10th February 5.30am - 6.40am.

If not entry fee is $10.00 per person.  The use of the code will cross referenced against those entered before the event.

As a National Championship event the Kinloch Sprint Distance is the primary selection event for the ITU Sprint World Championships held in the Lausanne, Switzerland from 29th August to 1st September 2019. Find out more here https://triathlon.kiwi/age-group-policies-selection-criteria-nomination-links/ The Kinloch Triathlon Sprint race is draft illegal. The first 12 eligible athletes in each age-group to cross the finish line at this race will gain automatic selection, if their finishing time is within 20% of first place in their respective age-group. Participants in the national sprint championships will be eligible to go into the draw to "Win a Suzuki".

National Sprint Champs - Suzuki Swift Giveaway

All entries into the National Sprint Triathlon Championship event go into the draw to win a new Suzuki Swift! At each National Championship event one lucky person will be drawn from all those eligible to be in the final draw. With the winner from each event then having the chance to win the Suzuki Swift drawn at the final event of the 2018/19 Suzuki National Triathlon Championships.
